Dawn Of The Dead (2005)

As a remake I found it a little disappointing, as a zombie movie in its own right its excellent. Similar plotline to the original, its at the start of an outbreak. A ragtag band of assorted characters seek sanctuary in a mall. This version has the mall already occupied by the night security guards. there's a lot of tension in this movie between the human characters, especially after more survivors arrive.

This movie seemed to be more about the situation which made it pretty action packed, the zombies couldn't half move quick! One thing did disappoint a little, only people bitten by the undead would return, which would suggest a toxic reason rather than a divine one as assumed in the 1978 original.
