Attention to detail struck me most about this book, Military technique, technology and the overall plot is so well described that it makes this book one of the most convincing zompoc books I've read.

The idea of using the undead as a tool for terrorism is genius. A crack team The Department of military Sciences led by Joe Ledger is sanctioned to take on the threat full on.

Joe Ledger is a tough, endearing character and I'll be following him into his next battle 'The Dragon Factory' very soon.
