Living Dead Boy
by Rhiannon Frater
As a child I often daydreamed about the end of the World and how I'd handle it. Living dead boy was a wonderful story where the stars are mere children of around twelve years old. It took me right back to my youth with all the trials and tribulations of growing up, but being twelve and having the zombie horde on your doorstep is unimaginably, except for Rhiannon of course.
Rhiannon has done a fantastic job, the start of the action reminds me of the classic film 'Red Dawn' where the kids escape from their school and head for somewhere safe.
Thankfully our heroes have a plan, they love zombie movies, and planned for the worst, although the worst is not entirely what they imagined, especially when it really is their life and death.
The action is fast paced and gripping right up to an ending of hope.
