Another epic journey, no punches pulled we're straight into the story from line one! From chapter to chapter more is uncovered from early beginnings to the current struggle, I found the way the book is laid out is excellent, to me the flow is like the way memories flood your mind. Some recent, some older but not necessarily in chronological order.

The lead character, Harris, is reminiscent of Joe Ledger (Patient Zero) to me, but maybe not quite a commando. His friend and companion is Buddy, an ex-con, they work incredibly well together, a perfect team for survival. Between them they hold together a small community of survivors in a walled area known as 'Eden', together they've overthrown the would be fuhrer and overlord Graham and his Psychotic henchman now everything is harmonious and democracy reigns.

But, something has happened that changes everything for Harris!!
