of the Dead
by Iain McKinnon

First novel by the author,
and a damn good read. The story starts several years into a global
infestation. A rag tag bunch of survivors are existing in a warehouse,
that's running severely short of supplies. Sarah is on the roof early one
morning where she hears the telltale sound of a helicopter nearby.
From there the story shifts to
a refuge where lots is explained and events unfold into the most perfect
of endings. It has likeable, believable characters, and the scripting is
spot on asking the questions I would ask. |
