Dead City
by Joe McKinney
From page one I was gripped, sadly I've read this out of order (Flesheaters, Dead City then Apocalypse of the dead), having said that it is a story in its own right.
The story follows a Police officer watching the World deteriorate and become overun by zombies in just one night, and while this is happening all he can think of getting to his wife and young son.
Being all in one night makes the story incredibly fast and very, very hard to put down, the action is graphic and violent.
I'll be getting to grips with the other two books very soon.
